Jeanne Rodriguez
I am a part-time instructor, lecturer and university supervisor for teaching credential candidates in the Extensive Support Needs Program at SF State. I have worked for six+ years as an inclusion support teacher in SFUSD, Ravenswood School District, and Redwood City School District. I am passionate about increasing access and full live opportunities for persons with disabilities including enhancing quality of life, self-determination and equitable outcomes.
One of my most memorable experiences as a teacher was taking a group of middle school students hiking on Angel Island for three days. I enjoy challenging the students and myself to try new things, learn skills and overcome challenges. Angel island is the largest natural island in the San Francisco Bay. I love being able to pack everything into a backpack and take everything with you.
